Consignor notes list this as an American gallery gun. It has no visible markings and features Germanic style engraving on the rear of the action and furniture, blade and notch sights, adjustable trigger, checkered panels on the walnut butt, and short Schnabel forearm.

Fine with 50% original blue finish on the barrel, mottled gray and brown patina and light oxidation on the action, 90% plus original nickel on the trigger guard and cap, strong original case colors on the remaining components, refinished and cracked forearm, crisp checkering on the grip, and general minor dings and scratches. Mechanically needs work.
