Description:

The only markings on the revolver are "LONDON PATENT/CO. 31,205." on the right side of the frame and small Birmingham proofs on the cylinder and bottom of the barrel which is octagonal with a narrow upper flat/rib. It is a version of the Webley "Self-Cocker" pattern revolvers with a top strap and without the Bentley patented safety. The grips are checkered. The case has a "DEANE, ADAMS, & DEANE retailer label, "20588" marked dual cavity bullet mold, Dixon & Sons powder flask, cap tin, bullets, and bore rod.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 40% original blue finish on the barrel and cylinder, smooth brown and gray patina on the balance along with some spots of slight pitting, some dents and chips in the otherwise crisp checkering on the grips, and mild overall wear. Mechanically fine. The case and accessories are also fine with moderate storage wear.
