Manufactured between 1899 and 1901. Blued barrels with doll's head extension and ramped beaded blade front and three leaf (one standing, two folding) express notch rear sights with platinum sighting lines, barrels marked "BOZARD & Co. 4 PANTON St. HAYMARKET LONDON/FOR 450/400 CARTG 55GRNS CORDITE 400 BULLET" on the left and right respectively, Birmingham nitro proofs on the flats, raised quarter rib, and large single extractor. The bolstered action is engraved with floral and scroll designs with the Bozard banner on each side. With double triggers and automatic tang safety. Checkered forearm with Anson style latch and well figured pistol grip stock with engraved steel grip cap, blank initial oval, raised cheekpiece, and solid rubber recoil pad. 14 1/2 inch length of pull, weight 10 lbs. 10 oz. With canvas and leather covered takedown case with William Evans interior label.

Fine as refurbished. 95% plus refinished blue remains on the barrels with light though legible markings, traces of light edge wear, and some small dings. The receiver has a mostly gray patina with well defined engraving, some yellowing varnish, and mostly brown trigger guard. The wood is also fine with well defined checkering, small dings throughout, and some small gaps at the frame junction. Mechanically excellent. Case is fine with storage and handling marks and some age cracks on the leather.
