W." and with single bead sight on the smooth concave rib, 3 inch chambers, single extractor, Birmingham nitro reproof marks on the flats, and improved cylinder/modified chokes. Scroll engraved receiver with standard proofs on the water table, double triggers, and automatic tang safety. Checkered splinter forearm with engraved fittings and well figured straight grip stock with inscribed initial oval (inscription illegible), sling swivels, and serrated horn buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches, weight 4 lbs. 4 oz.

Fine as refinished. 98% blue finish remains on the barrels with some visible pitting under the blue, light rib markings, and handling marks. The receiver has been cleaned with well-defined engraving and an overall gray patina. The refinished wood has well-defined, crisp checkering and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent.
