Ramped beaded blade front sight with flip up hood, two leaf (one standing, one folding) rear notch sight, and barrel marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND, 13 BRUTON STREET, LONDON" with standard British proofs on the left side of the breech. The receiver features floral and scroll engraving on the sides, engraved quick release scope bases and a Hensoldt 1.5-6x scope. The floorplate is full engraved and inscribed "MODELE-DE-LUXE". Finely checkered pistol grip stock with horn forend cap, engraved trapdoor grip cap, shadow line cheekpiece, gold inscription plaque engraved with a coat of arms and the motto "CLARUM REDDIT INDUSTRIA", and solid rubber recoil pad. The motto is that of Scottish Clan Milne; the crest, however, is unidentified. With leather bound Holland & Holland takedown case with interior labels matching the serial number and caliber of the rifle, and what appears to be a nickel plated hunting trumpet (mouthpiece absent).

Fine. 95% of the refinished blue finish remains with some mild edge wear, handling marks overall, and slightly light markings and engraving on the floorplate. The stock is also fine with crisp checkering, attractive grain and color, and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent. The scope is good with scuffs, dings and edge wear and clear optics. The scope base locking bar is loose. Case is fair with broken handle, absent strap, numerous scuffs, and broken partitions.
