This gun was built by F. Illi Rizzini in 1976; however, the maker's signature on the barrel flats and water table has been engraved over, with a few letters still distinguishable, likely at the time of importation. The barrels are marked "KATSENES CIE. SANTA MONICA, CAL/FOR LONDON GUNS" and "CONSTANTINE/-ITALY-." Single bead sight, ejectors, 3 inch chambers, full/modified chokes, Italian nitro proofs dated to 1976, fine engraved scrollwork and floral blossom patterns to the scalloped back action, single trigger and manual tang safety. Highly figured and very fine checkered forearm and straight grip stock with checkered bare butt. Matching numbers on water table, forearm hardware, lower tang (engraved) and barrels. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 1/4 inches, drop at heel 1 3/4 inches, length of pull 14 inches, weight 5 lbs. 10 oz..

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish on the barrels, a series of scratches and a small ding on the buttstock (right side) and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Robert E. Petersen Collection
