Included with the pistol is a letter from Jay Dewing of Dewings Fly and Gun of West Palm Beach, Florida. In the letter, Dewing identifies this pistol by serial number as "factory grade 2-3 engraved, and has factory mother of pearl grips". Additionally, the letter attributes the pistol a having been from the collection of "Prince Aboraza, stepbrother of the Shah of Iran", having been acquired from the prince's son. Aboraza is further described as having been a former head of SAVAK, the Organization of National Intelligence and Security of the Nation, Iran's combined secret police and intelligence service. Fixed sights, with a set of leafy vine and punch dot engraving on the slide and frame, along with the standard markings, a full-nickel finish and a set of smooth mother of pearl grips. Included with the pistol is a green leatherette case with a blue velvet lined French-cut interior and an extra nickel finished magazine.

Excellent, with 98% frosted original nickel finish, showing some light handling marks overall and a small amount of spotting on the frame. The grips show a tiny chip on the bottom of the left panel. The case is very good, with a few external stains and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
