Description:

This is a nice example of a post-WWI reissue Luger. Fixed sights, with "1921" on top of the chamber and "DWM" on the toggle. The right side of the barrel extension bears three "Eagle/ AYA4" proofs, with a Crown proof on the cheek block, two "eagle/ 33" proofs on the left side of the barrel and a "crown/ eagle" proof on the right. A struck-out marking, "S.Op.III.107.22" is present on the front strap. The upper safety position and extractor are labeled "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN", respectively. Grips are finely checkered walnut and the magazine is nickel plated with an alloy base marked "6151". A police-style holster, reworked from an Artillery model, is included, with "S.W.II.156/43" marked on the rear.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, showing 95% of the arsenal blue finish, with scattered spotting and pitting, light handling marks and some mild edge wear. Grips are also very fine, with some wood absent from the left panel around the safeties and sharp checkering. The holster is fair, with some tearing of the front corner of the magazine pouch and a number of scuffs and cracks overall. Mechanically excellent.
