Dated "1939" over the chamber and marked "42" on the top of the toggle. Two "eagle/655" proofs and the spread winged eagle firing proof appear on the right side of the chamber, with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "eagle/655" is on the upper left rear of the barrel. The upper safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. Finish is full blue, and external numbers are matching overall, including both magazines. Included with the pistol is a "1939" dated brown leather "C. Heinichen/WaA706" holster, an extra alloy base magazine, and an "eagle/63" marked takedown/loading tool.

Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, the start of a gray patina on the grip frame, and some light handling marks. The grips are also excellent, with some light dings visible on the otherwise crisp checkering. The holster is very fine, with some scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
