Manufactured for export to Switzerland, the Swiss Contract 1900 Lugers rank among the first of many military acquisitions of Georg Luger's classic design. Fixed blade front and notch rear sights, with the Swiss "cross in sunburst" motif on top of the chamber, and the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle link. Small "Swiss cross" proofs are present on the barrel, frame and chamber, the latter also bearing a "+/V" military inspection mark. The small parts are straw finished, with a flat top breechblock, bright lower safety position, full width back strap safety, smooth back strap, and a set of checkered grips. Two magazines are included, one plain metal with a "triangle in circle" on the wood base, the other nickel finished with an unmarked base with metal accent discs. Included with the set is a brown leather holster rig consisting of a tightly fitting holster with "18" on the rear and a magazine pouch on the flap, a leather shoulder strap marked for "G.MULLER" of Altikon, and a cartridge box marked for "Walter Kurt" of Obfelden, which contains a small screwdriver, a steel takedown tool, and a tri-lingual marked grease container.

Very fine with 80% of the arsenal refurbished blue finish. The grip frame is showing a well-aged brown patina, with bright edge wear and some minor spotting and handling marks. 75% of the refurbished straw color is present, with some fading. The grips are fine with a few dings and spots of verdigris. The leather gear is all very good, with some cracking and dark areas. Mechanically excellent.
