Description:

Ordered after 1910 when the monarchy of Portugal was deposed in favor of a republic. Blade front and notch rear sights, with "MP" stamped on the left side of the chamber, "R.P./(fouled anchor)" on top, and the "DWM" monogram on the front toggle link. The lower safety position is polished bright, and the extractor is marked "CARREGADA". The pistol is fitted with straw finished small parts, checkered grips, a grip safety on the smooth back strap and a nickel finished magazine with an unmarked hardwood base.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with 60% of the blue finish, showing bright edge wear, a mixed brown patina on the grip straps, and scattered spotting and handling marks. Straw components are refurbished. Some of the components have been restamped. The grips are very good replacements, with sharp checkering and a few dark spots. Mechanically excellent.
