Manufactured in 1935. Fixed sights, with the two-line address and patent marking on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, caliber on the right side, and "W" and "8/VP" on the trigger guard. About 40% of the surface is covered in fine punch-dot backed scroll engraving, with floral accents, and fitted with a pair of Colt medallion grips.

Fine as professionally embellished, with 95% plus nickel plated finish, showing some light handling marks overall, as well as a general light patination of the surface. Some pre-plating handling marks are visible beneath the finish, including a broad scratch running along the bottom of the grip frame and the magazine base. The grips are also fine, with some dents and verdigris. Mechanically excellent.
