According to the included factory letter, this pistol was shipped as one of 50 to "Lee, Glass, Anderson Hardware Co." (seen elsewhere as "Andreesen") of Omaha, Nebraska, on November 11, 1905. Fixed sights, with the two-line/two-block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide ahead of the Rampant Colt and the caliber markings on the right. The trigger guard is marked "VP", with a polished barrel, royal blue safeties and trigger, unmarked full blue magazine, and checkered "C" imprint grips. A Colt "black box" is included, with proper end label and a set of papers including a "Proper Ammunition" sheet and hanging tag, 1922 price list, "Special Instructions", instruction sheet, and an advertising sheet.

Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing some edge wear, areas of gray and brown patina, and scattered spotting and handling marks overall. The grips are fine, with some light dings. The box is fair, with wear and repairs, having formerly been numbered to a different item. Mechanically excellent.
