Manufactured in 1909. Fixed sights, with the two-line/two-block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide ahead of the Rampant Colt and the caliber markings on the right. Finish is full blue, with niter blue thumb safety and trigger, full blue unmarked magazine and a set of smooth pearl medallion grips. With a properly labeled Colt "black box", containing a "Proper Ammunition" card and hang tag, a "Special Instructions" sheet, and a barrel brush.

Very fine, with 80% of the bright original high polish blue finish, showing bright edge wear, mild spotting and handling marks, and a few areas of brown and gray patina. The grips are also very fine, with a few light handling marks and some wear on the medallion finish. The box is rough, and shows some recolored areas. Mechanically excellent.
