Manufactured in 1939, this exceptional Model 1908 comes in a factory box with matching end labels that is hand numbered to the gun on the bottom and includes a manual. With fixed sights, full blue finish. It has the two-line address and patent markings on the left side of the slide over the serial number and the two-line caliber marking on the right side under the ejection port. The trigger guard has a "W" over the triangular "VP" proof on the left side and "73" on the right front.

Excellent. 98% plus of the original blue finish remains with some minor handling and storage type marks and light edge wear. The grips are very good with some slight handling marks, otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some tears and edge wear.
