Manufactured in 1979. The included factory letter confirms caliber, barrel length, blue finish, grips, engraving, and shipment to Cherry's Sporting Goods in Geneseo, Illinois, on 26 February 1980. The engraving is factory class "C" American style floral scroll done by Colt Master Engraver R. B. Burt whose signature is under the grip. The grips are carved in a similar fashion to the standard Colt "eagle" hard rubber grips with eagle and shield motif as well as a Rampant Colt, and they are both marked "C-26/AJE/INDIA". Also includes the original shipping box and Colt blue box.

Excellent overall, retains 99% plus original finishes with only the slightest handling marks. The grips have some minor hairline age cracks and near the top of the front strap and crisp carving overall. Mechanically excellent. The boxes are very fine with some scattered light handling/storage wear.
