Manufactured in 1991 and factory engraved by Master Engraver George Spring. The Colt Custom Gun Shop end label confirms the overall configuration, including "Type 'B' Master engraved". The revolver has standard markings, attractive traditional American scroll and floral engraving with punch dot backgrounds, matching serial numbers, "G.S." (George Spring) on the left side of the front strap at the toe, and "BH48" on both grip straps.

Excellent overall with 98% plus bright original nickel and heat blue finish and only slight handling and storage type marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with some pieces torn, added tape, and moderate storage wear.
