Manufactured between 1938 and 1942. Single bead sight on the raised, matte, vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, "KH3" and "LK3" Remington date codes on the flats (indicating some type of factory rework), and modified (.017)/improved modified (.026) chokes. Standard G grade game bird engraving of quail on the right, ducks on the left, and a pair of pheasants on the underside. The balance features flourishes of fine scroll, and the Remington "PARKER" marking is on the underside. Dual triggers and sliding tang safety. Checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with gold initial oval marked "E/G/W" and checkered dog's head buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .621/.621 inch; minimum wall thickness .029/.029 inch; drop at comb 1 3/4 inches; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; length of pull 14 inches.

Very fine. 97% original blue finish remains with some light wear visible under the forearm and just a few small dings. The receiver has a mostly smooth gray patina with traces of original case colors in the more protected areas and well-defined engraving. The wood is fine with attractive figure, crisp checkering, and small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
