Single bead sight on the matte rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN, CONN. TITANIC STEEL", 2 9/16 inch chambers, ejectors, and improved cylinder/improved modified (.009/.030) chokes. Standard "D" grade engraving on the receiver with hunting dogs on the sides and four pheasants on the underside. Matching visible serial numbers. With dual triggers and tang mounted automatic thumb safety. Fancy checkered splinter forearm with engraved steel tip insert and engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with hard rubber Parker Brothers grip cap, silver initial oval, and checkered dog's head buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .666/.666 inch; minimum wall thickness .038/.038 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.

Fine. 95% plus blue finish remains on the barrels with some small dings, light muzzle wear, and a few small scratches. The receiver has 40% original case colors with the balance a gray patina with crisp engraving, and traces of spotting. The freshened finish wood is fine with attractive color and grain, scattered small dings, small chip at the forearm tip and near the forend shoe. Mechanically excellent.
