Standard markings on the receiver and locks. Checkered splinter forearm with hard rubber forend tip insert, pistol grip stock, and checkered Remington hard rubber buttplate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 2 inches; drop at heel 3 inches; length of pull 13 3/4 inches. (Max bore gauge will measure .780. These bores are much larger).
Fine. The barrels have an overall attractive gray patina with clearly visible Damascus pattern, small nicks and dings, and clear markings. The receiver and locks have 20% original muted case colors with the balance a smooth gray patina with traces of light spotting. The wood is also fine with well-defined checkering, small dings throughout, and a chip at the buttplate toe. Mechanically excellent.
