Manufactured in 1978. "COLT ENG" is marked on the left side of the grip frame. The gun has the rarest grade of factory engraving, Class A, with only 17% of engraved Third Generation Single Actions known to have it according to Wilkerson on p.215 of "The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver 1976-1986".

Near new with limited handling evidence. The case is good with some high spot wear on the lining and a couple minor tears on the exterior.
