Description:

German silver blade front and fixed notch rear sights, no visible markings on the rib, silver inlaid bands at the breech 2 1/2 inch chamber, and cylinder choke. Receiver and hammers are engraved with tight flowing scroll designs, and the lock plates are engraved with a roe deer on the right, and red deer on the left. Engraved trigger guard with fancy scroll carved grip extension, checkered forend, straight grip stock with raised cheekpiece, and checkered hard rubber buttplate with a deer head in the center. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrels have an overall brown/gray patina with dings and dents, edge wear, and visible twist pattern on the shotgun barrel. The receiver and locks are a mostly gray patina with clear engraving and some dark spotting. The wood is fair as repaired with a visible crack on the underside of the forend, well-defined checkering, small dings throughout, and filler on both sides of the buttstock. Wood replacement forearm under lever. Mechanically good.
