The receiver has light scroll engraving with the maker's name in banners on the sides, dual triggers, and automatic tang safety. Checkered splinter forearm with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with blank initial oval and serrated bare butt. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Fine as professionally refinished with 95% plus high quality blue finish remaining, some traces of light pitting under the blue, and some small areas of thinning. The frame has an overall aged gray patina with traces of original case colors in the protected areas, well defined engraving, and handling marks. The forearm has moderately worn checkering with small dings overall. The refinished buttstock has crisp freshened checkering some small dings and a small repaired chip at the toe. Mechanically excellent.
