The coin finished receiver features very fine, detailed game bird scene engraving with ducks on the right, geese on the left, and a pheasant on the underside. The balance is covered in very fine scroll designs. The trigger guard is engraved with a water mill scene and marked "Flaig's/Millvale". With a single trigger and sliding tang safety/selector switch. Highly figured three piece forearm with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and vented White Line recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .716/.716 inch; minimum wall thickness .042/.042 inch; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 13 1/2 inches.

Very fine. The barrels have 95% original blue finish with sharp markings and engraving, some small scratches, and light edge wear. The receiver engraving is sharp, and the barrels have some areas of applied protective yellowing varnish visible. The wood is fine as refinished with recut checkering, small dings, and very attractive grain and dark figure. Mechanically excellent.
