ENGLAND" in gold inlay between the rear sight and breech, and gold inlaid bands around the breech. The satin gray receiver and hand detachable side locks feature fine English scroll engraving with animal scenes of squirrels on the right, rabbits on the left, and the portrait of a fox on the underside. Each animal is rendered in high detail and in attractive contrasting gold inlay. The lock plates also feature gold inlaid maker's marks. With dual triggers and automatic tang safety. Barrels are fitted with ejectors. Checkered forearm with Anson latch and engraved fittings, and highly figured pistol grip stock with engraved blue steel grip cap, blank initial oval, and checkered bare butt. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/4 inches; drop at heel 1 7/8 inches; length of pull 14 3/4 inches.

Excellent. 98% original blue finish remains with some light scratches and small handling marks. The receiver has some light spotting and areas of a darker gray patina, sharp engraving, and bold inlays. The wood is also excellent with highly attractive figure, crisp checkering, and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
