The barrel is marked "No 2288 GRIFFIN & HOWE INC. NEW YORK" on top and "375 FLANGED MAGNUM" on the left side. Tight scroll engraved motifs appear on the receiver, breech end of the barrel, lever, grip cap, upper tang and trigger guard. Equipped with a hooded ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight dovetail (empty) on a raised rib. The lever has the number "9386." The nicely figured pistol grip stock has multi-point checkering, ebony forend cap, cheekpiece, "WLL" inscribed initial oval and Decelerator buttpad. Length of pull 13 3/4 inches.

Very fine as custom embellished, retaining 95% of the Griffin & Howe blue and casehardened finishes. The wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches, crisp checkering overall and retains most of the finish. Mechanically excellent.
