Manufactured in 1964. Dual bead sights on the matte rib, standard markings and Belgian proofs, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and skeet chokes. Standard pointer grade engraving with dog and bird scenes on the sides, a pair of grouse on the underside, and pheasants on the trigger guard. The balance features fine, tight scroll. The left side is signed "AM", and the right is signed "AMARECHAL". Very nicely figured checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with gold initial oval inscribed "LAD Jr." and vented Browning recoil pad. The extra barrel sets are: 26 1/2 inch vent rib with dual bead sights, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and improved modified/modified chokes; 30 inch trap set with dual bead sights, Broadway style vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and full/improved modified chokes. Extra barrel sets are numbered to the gun with independent forearms. Barrel number 1 and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech.727/.729 inch; minimum wall thickness .027/.026 inch; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Excellent. 99% plus original blue finish remains on the barrels with some light forearm marks. The receiver is an attractive gray with sharp engraving and mild handling marks mostly on the trigger. The wood is very good with some small scattered dings, hairline cracks behind upper tang and to the right of the trigger guard, crisp checkering, and some mild crazing of the varnish around the receiver junction. Mechanically excellent. Barrel set 2 is excellent with 95% plus original blue finish, several dings on the forearm, some forearm wear on the barrels, and light surface spotting on the fittings. Barrel set 3 is also excellent with 95% plus original blue finish, light forearm marks, and very small crack at the right rear. Case is good with light interior staining, scuffs and storage marks on the exterior, and replaced carry handle.
