Manufactured in 1976. The included original box has two end labels. The lower label is marked "TO BE ENGRAVED" and lists Class "B" engraving, and the second label that has recently fallen off but is included lists it as Class "A" engraved which matches the level on the gun. The box labels were accidentally labeled as a 66-1, but the revolver is only marked "MOD. 66," and the 66-1 came out in 1977. The revolver may have not shipped until 1977 or later due to the engraving. It features detailed acanthus scrollwork engraving on the barrel, frame, and cylinder with textured backgrounds. It has standard markings and sights. The box also includes a bore rod, brush, mop, and papers.

Very fine overall with light cycling wear including flash marks and a drag line on the cylinder and some faint handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with moderate storage wear including some tearing at the edges.
