Manufactured in 1956/57. 5-screw frame and matching serial numbers on the butt, both grip panels (in pencil), cylinder and ejector shroud. Comes with screwdriver, bore rod with two attachments and matching numbered S&W .44 Magnum pebble grain blue case featuring a Robert Petersen collection label on the bottom.

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and casehardened finishes showing a light cylinder drag line, a couple handling marks, scattered minor storage evidence and crisp grip checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine showing minimal handling/storage marks on the exterior and some contact wear on the lining. Provenance: Robert E. Petersen Collection
