Description:

This is one of possibly fewer than 200 model marked Model 22 revolvers manufactured circa 1957 to 1963. The inside of the frame is marked "MOD-22." Matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel and cylinder (under ejector). Comes with the original box.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall, retaining 98% original bright blue finish with light spotting on the grip straps and trigger guard, minor handling evidence and a light cylinder drag line. Trigger and hammer retain nearly all original case colors. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with scattered minor wear. Provenance: Robert E. Petersen Collection
