Manufactured in 1956/57 with matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, ejector shroud and right grip panel and rare 6 1/2 inch barrel. The factory Model 1926 gold box is numbered to the gun and has "NICKEL" redacted. The underside of the box has a Robert Petersen collection label and contains factory original tissue wrapped tool kit.

Excellent plus overall, retaining over 99% original special order bright blue and casehardened finishes showing very limited handling evidence and crisp grip checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with a tear on a short lid end and some minor wear. Provenance: Robert E. Petersen Collection
