Manufactured in 1968. The pistol has the near full coverage fine leafy scroll Renaissance engraving along with the addition of gold inlaid accents which are featured on the front sight, front section of the slide and front strap. A big cat gold inlay appears on the underside of the slide, and a deer head gold inlay appears on the front of the slide. The engraver, R. Greco, has signed his work on the left side of the trigger guard. Fitted with oak leaf carved grip panels featuring "ABB" on an initial oval on the right panel. The magazine floor plate has a raised hunting dog scene all in gold. With Browning soft case.

Excellent, retaining 98% plus original coin finish showing some speckling of discoloration near the trigger and minimal handling evidence. The grips are fine showing typical age cracking, some minor scratches and attractive grain and color. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Robert E. Petersen Collection
