Originally manufactured in 1950. This fine custom sporting rifle was assembled and finished by the late Dale W. Goens. Hooded, ramped beaded blade front and flip up two-leaf rear sights, barrel marked "Dale W. Goens No. 816" on top in fancy script, single Winchester "WP" proof on the receiver with scope bases, jewelled bolt and follower, and knurled round knob bolt handle. Fancy fleur-de-lis checkered pistol grip stock with ebony forend cap, checkered blue steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and checkered blue steel trapdoor buttplate.

Very fine as custom built and finished by master gunsmith and stock maker Dale Goens. 99% of the blue finish remains with some light handling marks overall. The stock is also very fine with crisp checkering, attractive grain, and rich color. Mechanically excellent.
