Manufactured in 1951. Ramped beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, standard barrel markings and Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, factory drilled and tapped receiver with filler screws in place, polished bolt numbered to gun, late style safety, and "SUPER GRADE" marked floorplate. Fancy checkered pistol grip stock with ebony forend cap, hard rubber grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as upgraded to super grade configuration. 95% original matte blue finish remains with some spots of dark surface rust visible on top of the barrel with some light handling marks and mild cycling marks on the bolt. The reoiled stock is also very fine with sharp checkering and a few small dings. The grip cap is worn with rust visible on top of the retaining screw. Mechanically excellent.
