Manufactured in 1940. Hooded ramp and elevation adjustable sights, Winchester factory oval proofs, pre-war safety, cloverleaf receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to gun, sling swivels, checkered pistol grip stock and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue finish showing high edge wear and some minor scratches. The refinished wood is fine showing minimal handling marks, small filled blemish on the grip area and crisp recut checkering. Mechanically excellent.
