The included factory letter states the revolver was shipped in June of 1956. With thin base, ramp blade front and Micro adjustable rear notch sights, early flat top frame, type 2 ejector rod housing, type 1 serrated ejector rod, serrated blue hammer with polished sides, and aluminum alloy grip frame. The grip frame is anodized black, and the remaining parts are blue. With unnumbered correct model factory box and papers.

Excellent overall. 95% plus original blue finish remains with some muzzle and edge wear, small surface scratches, and a visible cylinder drag line. The grips show some small dings and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Box is about good with corner and edge wear and some visible peeling.
