Manufactured in 1933. The barrel has the one-line Hartford address on top and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 45" on the left side. The left side of the frame has the standard two-line patent dates marking followed by a Rampant Colt. The left side of the trigger guard is marked with the number "3" above a Colt "VP" triangle proof. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, internal left side of the trigger guard, and back strap. The cylinder is numbered to the gun ("22"). The assembly number "29" is marked on the loading gate and rear of the frame.

Very fine, retaining 97% original blue finish showing light edge wear, slight thinning on the grip straps and cylinder drag lines. 95% vivid original case colors remain on the hammer and frame with a discoloration spot visible on the left side in the center of the patent marking. The period replacement grips are also very fine with some minor handling marks, typical age cracking on the bottom and attractive color. Mechanically fine.
