Manufactured in 1896. The barrel has the one-line Hartford address on top and "(BISLEY MODEL) 45 COLT" on the left side. The left side of the frame has the two-line patent date marking followed by a circled Rampant Colt. The grips are numbered "9065." Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, trigger guard and back strap.

Very fine. 90% plus original blue finish remains on the barrel and ejector housing, 70% original blue remains on the cylinder and 60% original blue remains on the grip straps with thinning to brown and high edge wear on the balance. The hammer and frame retain 60% original case colors. There is a chip missing on the bottom of the left panel; otherwise, the grips are fine with crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
