Blued chopper lump barrels signed "John Rigby & Co." in gold on the raised quarter rib, gold bands at the breech, blade front sight on smooth ramp base with flip over moon sight (bead absent), three leaf rear sight graduated to 75 yards and each leaf with gold inlaid center line, automatic ejectors, and barrel flats struck with London nitro proof marks dated "MM" for 2000. Side lock action featuring highly detailed and extensive African wildlife themed bulino engravings on gold background, with rhinoceros on the right plate, cape buffalo on the left, and a bull elephant and lioness on the underside, as well as a leopard on the trigger guard and a snake on the release, with various African birds and butterflies scattered throughout the engravings, "John Rigby & Co" signature to each side of the action, "G. Steduto" signature and "Creative Art" near the gold plated double triggers, removable firing pin discs, relief engraved fences, articulated front trigger, serial number on the lower tang, and tang mounted manual safety with bright engraved "S." Highly figured 14 3/4 inch walnut pistol grip stock with multi-point checkering, push button forend release, forearm hardware and compartment grip cap engraved to match the action, raised cheekpiece and leather wrapped recoil pad. Weight 11 lbs. 7 oz. Comes with an oak and leather fitted case with "JOHN RIGBY" signed on the inside, gold plated set of snap caps and containers, three horn handle screwdrivers, two piece cleaning rod and horn handle chamber brush.

Excellent overall retaining 99% plus of the original respective finishes showing minimal minor handling marks on the wood and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.
