Manufactured in 1928 with fixed blade and round top notch rear sights and standard markings on the slide and frame. The pistol features full coverage fine leafy scroll engraving with punch dot backgrounds and fine checker board patterns at the rear of the frame and slide. The slide is signed "J. ADAMS" on top just behind the rear sight. With a custom hardwood display case fitted for both guns in this lot.

Very fine overall as master embellished by John Adams. 99% deep blue finish remains with sharp engraving and a few small handling marks. The grips are also very fine. Mechanically excellent. Case is near mint with a few small exterior dings.

Manufactured in 1925. The included Adams & Adams engraving certificate confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel length, grips, and that the engraving was performed in 2006. The letter states the engraving as "B+" with American scroll and engraved borders. The pistol features roughly 50% coverage in fine leafy scroll designs with standard markings. The certificate further states the bluing and casehardening was performed by Turnbull restorations.
