Standard markings including the matching desirable serial number "MSF-1" on the bottom of the frame and on the grip frames. Features beautiful gold wire inlay border on the frame as well as gold bands at the breech, the muzzle, front of the ejector rod housing, rear of the cylinder, and a blank gold inlay initial shield border at the top of the back strap. There is a gold relief male lion head on the right side of the frame with an etched wildlife scene background. The smooth grips have Colt Custom Shop medallions.

Excellent overall, retains 99% plus blue finish with only the slightest handling marks and faint traces of a cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with a few scattered handling/storage marks.
