LEBEAU-COURALLY A LIEGE” towards each breech. Plain concave rib, foliate engraved ramp mounted bead front sight with flip up moon sight and matted upper flat, and matted quarter rib with blued rear sight of one standing and two folding leaves and foliate engraved ramp en suite with the front sight. Casehardened bolstered treble grip action with removable firing pin discs, blued top lever and sliding tang mounted automatic safety with gold inlaid “S”. The side locks each with a mixture of burnished and niter blued pins and signed “GROSJEAN” on the inside. The locks and action each with gilt internals. Blued trigger guard and pistol grip cap, casehardened triggers including articulated front trigger, and casehardened trigger plate signed “R. SMEETS. GRAr. INr. S.M. LE ROI”. The action, locks, trigger guard, and pistol grip cap each with best quality border and scroll engraving. Well figured 15 inch pistol grip stock including a 1/2 inch rubber recoil pad and with raised cheekpiece and gold initial oval engraved with scrollwork and the monogram “L.d.N.” Checkered grip with slight palm swell and checkered forearm with sprung lever release and inlaid gold crowned escutcheon engraved with partridge and the model designation “IMPERIAL EXTRA LUXE”. Excellent. The barrels retain 99% of their original blued finish with the action and locks retaining 98% strong original casehardened finish. The stock retains crisp checkering and has some minor storage and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case has age related storage and handling marks to the leather.
