Manufactured in 1925. Dual bead sights on the raised matte rib, "PARKER BROS. MAKERS MERIDEN, CT. U.S.A. ACME STEEL" marking on left side of the chamber, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and full choke. The barrel block features exceptionally fine game bird scene engraving with two relief chiseled gold inlaid birds on each side with ducks on the right and pigeons on the left. The left side of the block just above the bird scene is signed "ENG. A. GRIEBEL". Arnold Griebel, a German immigrant and die engraver by trade and part time gun engraver, was active in the Chicago area from the 1940s into the 1960s. The fine engraving continues on the receiver with flowing scroll and punch dot backgrounds, with gold wire inlay around the Parker Brothers name on the sides and a large gold inlaid pigeon on the underside. Fancy fleur-de-lis beavertail forearm and pistol grip buttstock with horn and hard rubber grip cap and leather covered recoil pad. The second barrel is 34 inches with dual bead sights, raised vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chamber, improved modified choke, and is engraved to match the first set with matching signature. With takedown case with brass plaques on the lid reading "PARKER BROTHERS" and "LLOYD ROLAND" respectively. Barrel and stock measurements are: chamber measured at 2 3/4 inches; bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .724 inch; minimum wall thickness .071 inch; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 1 7/16 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Fine as master engraved, gold inlaid, and refinished with 75% of the blue finish, brown spotting on the barrel, surface scratches, and some rounded edges on the receiver. The engraving is crisp, and the gold inlays are complete and detailed. The wood is fine with well defined checkering, some small dings and pressure marks, and wear on the leather wrapped pad. Mechanically excellent. Extra barrel set is also fine with some spotting and light handling marks. Case is good with dings and scuffs on the exterior and some staining on the interior.
