Manufactured in 1941. Winchester factory oval proofs, hooded ramp front sight, filler block in the rear sight dovetail, peep sight mounted on the bolt, checkered forearm and pistol grip stock, hard rubber Winchester grip cap, quick release sling swivels and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with some patches of spotting/pitting mostly on the barrel and the buttplate mostly a smooth brown patina. The wood is fine with minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
