Import marking on left side of the grip frame under the grip. Includes a brown leather case, bearing the interior lid label of Charles Lancaster & Company of London inside the lid, an (empty) 45 ACP ammo box from Canadian Industries Limited, and a brass plaque on the lid engraved "Royal Military College/Prize/for/TACTICS/GENTLEMAN CADET/J. Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, with takedown lines on the slide and frame, edge wear, areas of gray and brown patina, scratches on the underside of the slide, and some light spotting and handling marks overall. The front sight has been flattened out on the top. The grips are excellent, with mild dings on the checkering and some rust and tool marks on the screw heads. The case is fine, with some stains and scuffs, as well as some lost stitching in the corners. Mechanically excellent.
