Manufactured in 1931. Fixed round blade front and adjustable rear notch sights, two-line address and patent marking followed by the Rampant Colt on the left side of the slide, and "COLT <ACE> .22 LONG/RIFLE" marking on the right. With a checkered wide spur hammer, milled checkered trigger, and arched checkered mainspring housing. With checkered grips, two-tone blue magazine marked "COLT/<ACE>/22 LR.", and a hardwood case with red felt inner lining.

Very fine, with 97% plus of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks and a light patch of surface rust visible on left side of slide, ahead of slide serrations. The custom made replacement grips are fair, though the left panel is ill-fitting and checkering pattern is non-professionally executed (easily replaced). The custom case is very good, with some mild handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
