Blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with a brass front sight/muzzle protector, the two-line model and address markings on the left receiver wall, and the initials "DC" in gold inlay with light scroll accents on top of the chamber. Smooth straight wrist stock, with a ring bar on the underside of the wrist and a flat steel buttplate. With a hardwood case, lined in green felt with "Domingo Cabred" engraved on a plate on the lid. Notes from the consignor suggest that Cabred may have been an ambassador for Uruguay. Additionally, a Doctor Domingo Cabred was a noted pioneer in the treatment of mental illness. Among other distinctions, he was an early proponent of mental treatment for the criminally insane, founder of the colony/town of "Open Door", and represented Argentina on the world medical and scientific stage on multiple occasions.

Rating Definition:

Exceptionally fine, with 95% of the period blue finish, showing some light spotting and handling marks overall. The stock is also excellent, with a few light dings and scratches. The case is very good, with some mild wear and stains. Mechanically excellent.
