Constructed from blue twill cloth, this set consists of a tunic and a pair of breeches. The tunic is outfitted for an aviator at the rank of Oberleutnant (First Lieutenant), with yellow waffenfarbe trimmed shoulder boards and collar tabs, and the Luftwaffe eagle and Pilot/Observer Badge rendered in silver bullion. The inside is fitted with a concealed suspension rig for use with the Luftwaffe aviator dagger, with a rayon lining, two interior pockets (no tags), and a manufacturers tag just beneath the collar marked "L.W.A./Berlaufsabteilung/der Luftwaffe/Berlin SW 68. Puttkamerstr.16-18". No maker's marks or size markings are present inside the breeches.

Very good, with mild stains and wear, including sweat-staining of the interior appropriate to age and use.
