Fixed sights, dated "1937" on the chamber, with the "S/42" code on the toggle. "Droop wing eagle/63" proofs on the extension and barrel, with eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Matching numbers are present overall, including on the blued alloy base magazines (one also marked "+" in the traditional style). "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the upper safety area and extractor respectively, with straw finished small parts and checkered hardwood grips. With a brown leather holster, marked "HANS ROMER/1937/NEU-ULM" and "WaA455", and a takedown tool with a small "eagle" proof.

Excellent, with 97% plus of the original blue finish with mild holster wear. 98% of the original straw colors remain. Much of the surface is covered with aged, dried storage grease, giving the pistol a brown and occasionally rough appearance; the areas that have been cleaned off show a deep, strong blue with mild handling marks. The grips are also excellent, with some light scattered dings and oil staining. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine, with some scuffs and cracking. A really nice P.08 Luger Rig!
