Description:

Manufactured from 1871-1880 this rifle features dovetailed blade front and Lawrence patent rear notch and folding ladder sights, double set triggers, and is mounted with a pewter tipped smooth forearm and smooth straight grip stock with rifle buttplate. It shows standard markings including "Old Reliable" barrel marking and the one-line Bridgeport address.

Rating Definition:

Fair, showing mostly a smooth dark grey patina overall, some scattered minor pitting, and partially obliterated barrel address. The sanded, refinished wood is good with some scattered minor dings and scratches. The tang has been broken and welded. Mechanically excellent.
